What do genetic variations in newborn babies mean? And how can changes in the blood composition of newborn babies and risk factors in the environment have an influence on the development of autism, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and depression later in life? These are among the questions which we are trying to answer.
Our department consists of three laboratory areas focusing on genetic studies, mass spectrometry and protein measurements. We have a total of approx. fifty employees, equally divided between academic staff and technical staff.
